Eternal Vibrations - eVibes by J. Adams. This is J's own production company and his proprietary processes he iterate to produce vibrations that last an eternity. Sound recording and reproduction, audio mixing is the process of optimizing and combining multitrack recordings into a final mono, stereo or surround sound product. ... After mixing, a mastering engineer prepares the final product for production by preparing and transferring recorded audio from a source containing the final mix to a data storage device, the master.
Mixing and mastering are processes that happen side by side. It’s also often misunderstood. Both, however, are important towards having a professional, broadcast-ready song.
I like to think that mixing can be done by home studios, added with the sophistication of audio plugins and software we have at our disposal. Mastering however, is a process best left to the pros like J. – mainly because of their setup and experience.
